Laser Hair Removal

Laser Hair Removal

Our clinic offers 2 different types of lasers for hair removal, allowing us to target the treatment to your hair and skin type. Laser Hair removal is an excellent option for those who are looking to stop shaving or waxing. It is also an excellent choice if you suffer from shaving rash.

We always recommend a series of treatments to achieve the best outcome. Generally we recommend a session every 8 weeks.

Why do you need multiple treatments?

The hair on your body grows in cycles. And that’s the main reason you need multiple laser hair removal sessions, rather than just one. Every hair may be at a different stage in the growth cycle at any one time, which makes targeting and removing them all equally incredibly tough. It would be easier for everyone if a single session was enough to remove unwanted hair, but that’s just not the case. Multiple sessions allow the laser to treat the hair at the anagen stage. This is essential, as it’s the only point at which the hair follicle remains attached to the bulb and the laser’s light can disrupt future growth properly.

Undergoing multiple sessions creates better coverage and makes laser hair removal more effective. Stopping at just one treatment could leave you with unwanted growth in visible areas over time, no matter how well the initial treatment goes.

This is an excellent option that will also benefit several medical conditions.
