Before Treatment
Let us know if you have a history of cold sores.
14 days: Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, alcohol, ginkgo Biloba, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve and other NSAIDS. These all can have a blood-thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections. If any of these are medically indicated please advise us.
After Treatment
Some products contain an numbing agent that may last for 2-3 hours.
Pinpoint bleeding may occur, is normal and will resolve within 2 hours.
Avoid strenuous exercise & intense heat for 72 hours.
Avoid laying down for 4 hours.
Swelling can be normal and will subside within a few days.
Wear Sunscreen.
