The Surprising Product I Use Most

Good Morning Beautiful Friends! Winter is now upon us (!?!) and I’d like to discuss my current favourite skincare product – sunscreen.

Our skin is the largest organ in our bodies so it may come as no surprise to learn that it is affected by seasonal changes, and it may need different products or ingredients at different times.

Winter brings freezing outdoor temperatures and contrasting heated and dry indoor air. This can wreak havoc on your skin! The increased need for moisture is very, very real but my current favourite product is Colorescience Sunforgettable SPF 50 pure mineral brush-on sunscreen!

It Doesn’t Dry You Out

I have dry skin naturally. I use hydrating products even in the heat of summer. Initially, when I was approached about the Colorescience Brush-On Sunscreen I was very dubious and thought that the powder texture would dry me out further. I am very happy to report that this is not the case at all! I can reapply it all day long and it doesn’t exacerbate my dry skin. 

It’s Family Friendly

I love using this product on my husband and toddler. Neither of them complains (too much) when I sneak-attack them with the brush tip. A big win
